"My objective is to coach the student towards understanding
the "job" of being the drummer and to help the student understand the
importance of time and feel as being the foundation for music and soloing."
DAN'S EDUCATION AND HONORS:
Dan's drumming carreer began eleven years ago in Uxbridge, Massachusetts.
He studied with a local teacher for two and a half years while also playing
in bands around town. In early 1996 Dan joined Hostile Groove, a local
metal band that played several gigs per month in the New England area
and was involved in many recording sessions. Dan remains busy with the
band today which now stands "at the foreground of a vehement and volatile
style" (Scott Perham, Music Connection Magazine). In 1999 Dan moved to
Los Angeles with his band to attend the Musicians Institute in Hollywood,
CA, where he received his commercial certificate as a recording artist.
Dan was hired as a teachers assistant while still enrolled as a student
and since graduation was given the honor of joining the illustrious P.I.T
staff.
