Introducing our 2 Guitar teachers:

"My aim is to share my 20 years of varied musical background and experience on guitar for the benefit of the student who wants to learn anything from note-reading and music theory to how to play a favorite song. My lessons are tailored to the individual. All that is required of the student is a guitar and the desire to learn; I will provide the rest."

• National Guitar Workshop, Connecticut, Summer 1998
• California State University Summer Arts Program, 1995 and 1996
• Winner of the Randy Rhoads Scholarship Competition, CSUN, 1996
• Successful completion of the Guitar Pedagogy Program at CSUN, 1994 - 1995

THE FOLLOWING WILL BE COVERED DURING LESSONS WITH BRIAN RUPP:
1. Improvement of one's focus and concentration, coordination and dexterity
2. Dicipline and problem-solving skills
3. Musical skill and enjoyment through the guitar

Curriculum includes studies in chords, strumming patterns, scales, note-reading, blues, rock and flamenco patterns with an emphasis in helping the student to develop skills in her/his favorite style of music. Specialty includes being able to learn music by ear off recordings and arrange it for guitar in a way that is easy for the student to comprehend and execute. All ages are welcome.

1. Rhythm and single string techniques in blues, classic rock, modern rock, funk,R&B
2. Music theory and ear-training
3. Techniques in composing and crafting one's own music

Students will learn accelerated learning techniquesÊthat will help in their practice routines. The student will also be trained to have the ability of learning music by ear - a valuable and life lasting skill.
