Teacher Paulette Adamec

"A child's first encounter with learning a musical instrument should be one of joy that will last them a life time."

Paulette Adamec is the founder of The Music Castle and has been both a piano and voice teacher for over twelve years. Paulette is also an author as well as a performer. She teaches all ages and styles of music with special training in early childhood development. Paulette's private instruction program, "The ABC's of Piano" specializes in working with children ages 3 to 10. Her fresh and imaginative approach to teaching helps children learn to develop a love for music and build self confidence. Her continued success comes from customizing her teaching methods to the age of her pupil while focusing on teaching theory, technique and performance, making sure that the learning experience is both fun and enjoyable. Paulette's associate piano instructor Luke Kaneki works with the Music Castle's pre-teen, teenage, and adults teaching all styles and all levels as well.

THE FOLLOWING WILL BE COVERED DURING LESSONS WITH PAULETTE ADAMEC:
1. Proper body and hand position
2. Developing of eye hand coordination
3. Imagination games and rhymes for memorization of
3. music notation
4. Developing and finding the "beat" introduction to rhythm
5. Exploring different styles of music
6. Playing with confidence

Teacher Luke Kaneki

"It is essential for an instructor to recognize and understand the unique musician in each individual student. Some simply hear the music, while others prefer to study it. Some like to recreate while others compose. Some like to "rock out" while others prefer soak in sensibility. Then there are various combinations of the above. Each student desires and needs have to be noticed and carefully nurtured for them to experience the most joy through this process."

EDUCATION AND BACKGROUND:
• Studied with Satoru Kaneki, founder of Sadiem Music Institute
• Studied with Goki Taketo, Prof. of Keyboard, Tokyo Art University
• Studied with Shigeko Aoyama, Prof. of Piano, Tokyo Art University
• Studied Jazz & Blues piano with the head of Jazz Dept. at CSU - Northridge
• Composition Major at CSU - Northridge
• Staff composer at Killer Tracks, a music library company of BNG Ent.
• Composer of independent feature films & commercials
• Currently working with NBC, WB, ABC, FOX and TLC.
