Paulette Adamec is the founder of The Music Castle and has been both a voice and piano instructor for over twelve years. She has had over fifteen years of private vocal training with various teachers through out the United States as well as studied at the John Ford School of Voice in San Francisco, California. Paulette is often refered by Dr. Raphael Nach of Beverly Hills,CA a throat specialist as well as famed vocal coach Mark Baxter, author of "The Rock'n'Roll singers survival guide." She has also received special training in early childhood development and works with students as young as 3 years old. Paulette sets up training and vocal heath care programs for professional singers going on tour. She also helps new artists create promo packs with their Demo, Bio. and Photo to shop to record lables. As an author Paulette has published a comprehensive vocal instructional CD entitled "A Journey Into Vocal Awareness." As a professional singer/songwriter she has recorded and performed in many different bands as well as having toured the US extensively.

THE FOLLOWING POINTS WILL BE COVERED DURING A PRIVATE LESSON WITH PAULETTE:
1. Discussion of anatomy (i.e. vocal cords, soft palate, larynx, diaphragm, etc.)
2. Information and advice on vocal health
3. Body warm-ups (i.e. breathing, neck and back stretching, lip and face muscle exercises
4. Vocal warm-ups (i.e. soft palate stretch, the Do-Re-Mi scale with ear training variations, vowels sung to 3 and 5 note scales)
5. Discussion of the head and chest voice and the sensation of their placement
6.Proper pronunciation, tongue twisters and focus on mouth shape
7. Site singing (i.e. Theory, Note-reading)
8. Finding your own unique singing style
9. Song memorization and interpretation
10. Overcoming stage fright
11. Stage presence and microphone technique
12. Building your repertoire while preparing for performances and recitals

Why does everyone like to sing? Whether on stage in front of an audience or just in the shower, we can all admit one thing - IT'S FUN! Isabel began her musical adventure over twenty years ago singing and dancing on the stage. Having appeared in over thirty productions before she had turned 16, Isabel credits her longevity to learning proper vocal techniques in a fun and supportive atmosphere. After working with several teachers, vocal coaches and directors over the years, Isabel has collected an arsenal of techniques and ideas to bring out the singer and performer in everyone. Not only a graduate of the University of Alberta, Grant MacEwan Theater Institute and Musicians Institute, Isabel also has received extensive training in Music Business and is starting her own publishing company. Since 1998, Isabel has been sharing her knowledge and love for singing with students of all ages. As well as private lessons, Isabel also coaches actors, prepares singers for those last minute auditions, and gives advice regarding issues in music business. Currently, Isabel is the lead singer and co-writer of her own band Arias, with her partner, Christian Klikovits.
